Questions about Guavas
Will this affect my credit score?
No. We don’t run a credit check when you fill in the form. To understand your options we may look up your company’s records on Creditsafe, which is not a credit check and has no impact on your credit score. A credit check only happens if you go ahead with a business loan application to a lender.
What does it cost?
Guavas doesn’t charge you a fee, and there’s no obligation. If you go ahead with a lender, they pay Guavas a commission, which is built into the lender’s charges. You’re never tied in and can walk away at any point.
Are you regulated?
Yes. Guavas Finance Ltd is an Appointed Representative of Swoop Finance Limited (FRN 936513), which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Guavas’s own FCA reference number is 1053082.
Is Guavas a lender or a broker?
We are a credit broker, not a lender. We arrange facilities from lenders on our panel and never lend ourselves.
